Oxtox is developing Drugsensor™, a device that uses novel and cost-effective technology to rapidly detect whether a person is currently 'under the influence' of specific drugs, all with a minimum of inconvenience.

Just as a 'breathalyser' measures how much alcohol a person currently has in their system, so does Drugsensor measure the amount of 'drugs of impairment' such as cannabis and the varieties of amphetamine, by rapidly analysing a small sample of saliva.

And it does so...

  Rapidly:
testing time of around 30 seconds.

Accurately:
some drugs, such as cannabis, are hard for existing point-of-use drug tests to detect, but not for Drugsensor.

Easily:
both for the person taking the test and the person administering it.
